WE FINISHED THE HAUTE ROUTE!
This was the hardest and most rewarding hike we had ever done. Here are some quick stats on the hike:

After sleeping in in the Matterhorn hostel, we reflected on the Haute Route and explored Zermatt. The view the Matterhorn was spectacular.
We did sone shopping an relaxing. In the evening, We got together with the two American hikers we met along the way, Adam and Heather. We had dinner at Sparkys restaurants, and found out that Adam and just proposed to Heather on the trail! I had a chicken Thai curry with rice after garlic bread and beer. We said goodbye to the couple and went to bed.
