After arriving in Romania, we spent the night and the next morning at Alina’s family’s home in Moreni. It was a leisurely morning of sleeping in, breakfast, and coffee under a canopy of grape vines. Alina’s mother and father keep a very nice home with a beautiful vegetable garden, surrounded by wild and planted flowers. Marius, Augustina, and Antonia joined us for lunch before we left for Codlea, the city where Alina’s aunt and uncle live, 2 hours North.

Marius, Augustina, and Antonia joined us for lunch before we left for Codlea, the city where Alina’s aunt and uncle live, 2 hours North.
We took 2 cars which included car 1: Marius, Augustina, Alina, Antonia, and myself, while Bebe drove car 2 with Alina’s mom, Lidia and Bebe’s girlfriend, Denisa. We traveled through small villages and over mountains, leading us into the valley of Brasov. Codlea is a small town where Alina’s aunt Coca and uncle Gheorghe live. Cornelia, another aunt, also resides in Codlea. Our small caravan arrived at their home and we ate cake and cookies with coffee. Antonia did some dancing while family chatted in Romanian. The caravan left us in Codlea and we went to bed early.
